“PRAYER PARTNERS”

An Outreach Program for our Children and Senior Citizens to commence

Sept. 1, 2009 thru Aug. 31, 2010

All St. Spyridon’s children and senior citizens are invited to participate in our new “Prayer Partners” program. The

focus of this program is to create a Christian bonding between our children and senior citizens, by praying and caring

for one another. Our expectations:  Most importantly, “prayer partners” will pray for each other; also, correspond and

communicate with each other throughout the year by sending a birthday card, a Christmas card, exchanging e-mails,

etc. Basically, doing anything your heart desires to build a loving Christian relationship with your prayer partner.

Outreach support of this program will also be incorporated in the Church School and “Kali Parea” group throughout

 the ecclesiastical year.

What’s needed:

-A picture of every child, infants to seniors in high school.

-Biography forms for each child and senior citizen participant.

-All St. Spyridon children and senior citizens to participate.

If you’re interested in becoming a “Prayer Partner”, a sign-up sheet will be available during

Coffee Hours, or contact Joanie Hamel at 724 938-2641, for further information or questions.

Special Note:

Beginning next week September 6th , a special basket will be passed.  This special basket will be passed on the first Sunday of every month to help pay down the $125,000 loan.  Through the prayers and intercessions of our Father

St Spyrdion, may the blessings of our loving God continue to guide us.

Thank you.
